What was your favorite romantic movie of the 1990’s? Do you even have to think twice about it? I’m guessing for a huge percentage of readers it’s Pretty Woman. And how could it not be? Julia Roberts, Richard Gere, shopping, and sex. What could be better? How about…Pretty Woman, the musical! Yes, director Garry Marshall, screenwriter J.F. Lawton, and producer Paula Wagner are, according to the NewYork Post, working on a Broadway production. (I just hope Lawton doesn’t try to go back to his original ending, in which Vivian ended up kicked out of a limo instead of where she belongs…in Edward’s arms!) Thoughts?
