Penelope Douglas’ books are never what I imagine. I go in with a preconceived notion of how the characters are going to act but they end up completely obliterating what I though I knew. And you know what? I freaking love it.
"I first stumbled on Rhyannon Byrd a few years back when I picked up Last Wolf Standing and I have been hooked on this series ever since."
Gracie is a workaholic and the constant third wheel to her friends Keira and Nathan. Keira is definitely the one wearing the pants in her relationship with Nathan, supporting him as he tries to find a job as a fledgling filmmaker. When Nathan and his friend Mitch come up with a great idea to film a web series called “The Lost Art of…” they see an opportunity to make some easy money doing what they do best. The first few episodes they decide to focus on are things like spearfishing, but when Keira catches wind of their idea, she suggests they do an episode called The Lost Art of Tying a Bow Tie, a skill that Gracie has perfected. Problem is, the video would star Gracie and Mitch -- two people whom would much rather avoid each other at all costs instead of getting up close and personal on camera.

Cunning. Sex. Pure nerve. Only this potent threesome can raise him to his rightful place as ruler of Manhattan's kink kingdom. Bouncing from bed to bed on the Upper East Side—handsomely paid in both bills and blackmail fodder—Kingsley Edge is brilliant, beautiful and utterly debauched. No carnal act or chemical compound can relieve his self-destructive apathy—only Søren, the one person he loves without limit or regret.
RITA® Award-winning author Sarah MacLean reveals the identity of The Fallen Angel's final scoundrel in the spectacular conclusion to her New York Times bestselling Rules of Scoundrels series . . .
I love a well researched, smart book. Emmy Curtis clearly has her research well in hand for this series. She takes us on military missions filled with so much detail, you can almost feel the sandy grit in your eyes as you read. The third book in her Alpha Ops series hits all of the high notes you need for an engaging military themed romantic suspense.
