When we left the dusty town of Fortuity at the end of Lay It Down, Vince and Kim somewhat saved the day and found true love along the way. The Desert Dogs got the band back together to help protect their hometown from the evil corporate raiders that are buying up their lands for casinos. As we all know, casinos have a nasty rep when it comes to illegal activity, and it all begins before the building are even constructed. Vince, Miah, Casey, Raina and the unlikely, stiff suited Duncan, are here to right the wrongs…by any means necessary.
Oh, what a week it is. I know I say that a lot, but the next seven days really brings something for everyone. We have a novella from Megan Frampton (How much did you love THE DUKE’S GUIDE TO CORRECT BEHAVIOR?), a stunning new novel from the incredible Kristin Hannah (just read the first two lines and I dare you to put the book down), the latest by Samantha Young, THE RAVEN from Sylvain Reynard, and more.
