Trope Talk: Nurse Heroines

My favorite stories are love stories. I enjoy all sorts of other genres too. Historical fiction, dystopian fiction, biographies, you name it. But when I read love stories, I get to feel like I’m falling in love all over again. Those initial side long glances, wondering if he likes you back, that first kiss… AHH! So good. And, being that I’m a nurse, it’s always a bonus when love stories have medical themes. I thought I’d share some of my favorite romances, featuring nurse heroines.

The Dessert Dogs is a new series from Cara McKenna. This is the part where I admit to Lay It Down being my very first Cara McKenna book. McKenna has been on my TBR pile forever and I am so happy I finally got the chance to read her. And what a way to start.
